With generous support from the Tai Hung Fai Charitable Foundation, CDRA is pleased to be the hosting site for a dementia care chatbot developed by Professor Sheung-Tak Cheng of The Education University of Hong Kong. Just click the           icon at the lower right corner to start.

The chatbot has been tested in a randomized controlled trial (a scientific study performed to evaluate the effects of an intervention), with positive feedback from carers. While the chatbot will start with English, users may ask questions in any language. However, please avoid switching languages in the middle of a question (e.g., mixing traditional Chinese with English).

The chatbot is limited to providing suggestions on dementia care strategies and carer stress management. It is not intended for handling severe emotional or mental health issues. If you need assistance, please call the Hong Kong SAR Government’s hotlines 182183 or 18111. Also, please consult YYY for services in your neighborhood.

This chatbot will continue to operate for as long as funding from the Tai Hung Fai Charitable Foundation is available.
